FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What types of coffee do you offer?
We offer a variety of blends, single-origin coffees, and cold brew options, all carefully roasted to bring out the best flavors.
What is the difference between the grind types?
The main differences between French Press, Drip, Pour Over, and Cold Brew come down to how water extracts flavor — and grind size plays a big role in that.
- French Press — Coarse grind, similar to sea salt.
- Drip — Medium grind, similar to sand. Used in automatic drip machines.
- Pour Over — Medium to medium-fine, slightly finer than drip.
- Cold Brew — Extra coarse grind, similar to breadcrumbs.
Why don't we offer an espresso grind?
Espresso isn't included with standard grind types because it requires a much finer grind, similar to powdered sugar, and uses high pressure to extract coffee quickly. This method is far less forgiving, where even small changes in grind size can drastically affect taste and flow. Because of this precision, espresso typically requires a specialized grinder and is treated as its own category.
Do you offer whole bean and ground coffee?
Yes! You can choose your preferred grind type, whole bean, drip, or French press, on each product page. We recommend ordering whole-bean coffee for the best flavor. Grinding your coffee right before brewing helps preserve freshness and lets you adjust the grind size to your brewing method. This will give you a better extraction and a richer cup.
How should I store my coffee?
Store your coffee in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. We recommend an airtight container or the bag it comes in for maximum freshness.
How long does shipping take?
We roast fresh every Wednesday to ensure the best quality and flavor in every order. Orders are shipped on Thursdays and typically arrive within 1-2 days, depending on your location.
Do you offer subscriptions?
Yes, we offer $1 off every product with a bi-weekly subscription or a monthly subscription.
